Kittyinva: From the Kent State Fashion Museum, an incredible 1925 evening ensemble by American designer Peggy Hoyt. The gown and cape are of silk chiffon with Luneville embroidery in gold and silver beads and copper thread. The cape has a collar of fox fur.

I was really looking forward to wearing this gown that I think celebrates a perfectly normal human experience! Many of my fans are young women who may feel pressured by society to be embarrassed by periods. It’s empowering to teach young women about their bodies, encourage them to celebrate them AND to question people who tell them not to!
My goal with this look was to normalize menstruation by looking sick’ning even if I was on my period!
Instead, i decided to wear the beautiful quilted dress you saw in the episode because it is not my show, it’s Ru’s. But because of Ru, I have my very own platform to speak for myself and show you all my interpretation! ❤️

On behalf of my own personal functioning uterus I APPRECIATE THIS LOOK! It’s a high-fashion concept piece that beautifully embodies femininity and periods (NOT to say that one is necessary for the other). Also Manila looks FUCKING GOOD. Let the bitch wear what she wants.
Ru not appreciating this doesn’t surprise me, but it does annoy me. It’s a brilliant look and the message Manila wanted to send is great. The fact that she didn’t get the chance to share it (good as her alternate look was) is very sad.
